What We Believe

We believe that every person has great value and worth, and is created in the image of God -- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God has revealed Himself to humanity through the magnificent story line of the Bible. We believe that humanity has a sin problem which means they are eternally separated from God. As a result, apart from Jesus Christ, humanity is spiritually dead. The incredible message of the church is that God dealt with the sin problem through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He initiated a personal relationship with mankind. God offers forgiveness of sin to all people through the salvation work of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 says: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

We believe that God has created you to fulfill His purposes. True meaning in life is found only in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 29:11 says: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God's love story is captured in Romans 5:8 which says: "But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The good news is that this incredible story of God's love is for you through faith in Jesus Christ.
