Sunday evenings we focus on the core concept of Bible. Learning and growing in God's Word is essential for the Christian life. We strive for the children in our ministry to discover that the Bible is essential to their everyday life.
Explore the Bible (Nursery-Kindergarten)
Explore the Bible is offered for children ages nursery through kindergarten. Explore the Bible is designed to help your kids dig deep into God's Word! Using a book-by-book format, every session brings the Bible to life equipping kids with foundations of faith and encouraging them to live what they learn everywhere they go. The 4 YR Olds & kindergarten have various activities through the evening which include the Bible lesson, play time, snack time and music. 4 YR Olds & Kindergarten Explore the Bible classes meet at 6:30 PM on Sunday Evenings, August through June. Nursery - 3 YR Olds Explore the Bible meet at 6:30 PM on Sunday Evenings year-round.
Bible Skills (1st-5th Grade)
Sunday evenings elementary age children are engaged in learning Bible Skills in fun creative ways. Kids learn Bible verses, Key Passages, the books of the Bible, and Bible stories all while having lots of fun. We intentionally focus on the core concept of Bible on Sunday nights to give our kids a foundation that will be with them their whole lives. We hope that through their time together on Sunday nights that they will hide God's Word in their hearts and begin to have a pattern of spending time in God's Word. The Bible Skills class meets at 6:30 PM on Sunday Evenings, August through June.
FBCR Kids Choir (4 YR Olds-5th Grade)
Your child is invited to continue to build foundations of faith by learning about worshipping God through music. Kids will learn foundational songs, scripture songs, Christmas music, and Easter music. Our prayer is that the music the kids learn today will be with them through adulthood reminding them of God's great love and teaching them about worshipping God through song. The FBCR Kids Choir is incorporated into our Sunday evening classes. We hope you will consider coming as a family on Sunday nights for evening worship.
