CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST 2023
Christmas in August is a Southern Baptist summertime tradition to benefit missionaries, agencies and the people they serve in the name of Jesus Christ.
WE NEED YOU: This year we want to shower gifts on Steve Looker, a North American Mission Board missionary who serves The Refuge Church, a recent replant in Zanesville, Ohio. The church has adopted a school, Zane Gray Elementary, to share the love of Jesus.

They offer "blessing bags" with meals & weekend activities for underprivileged students.

Witness in the school to students AND teachers.
HOW TO HELP:

There is a decorated tree near the gym. Please place WISH LIST ITEMS under the tree or in the box.

Put cash or checks in an envelope marked for Christmas in August in the offering plate or take to the church office. Checks should be payable to FBC Russell because one check will be mailed to the missionary when the campaign is over at the end of August.
